● Alarmed by the increase in violations of the rule of law especially in, accompanied by the area weakening[Space]of fundamental civil rights and political freedoms in EU Member States, which has been seen leading to cases of growing authoritarianism, such as in Hungary;

Reason

Implementation of the position that democracy and fundamental rights are not a part of the rule of law, just closely intertwined.
