Motion: Motion on the Principles for a Common Reimbursement Framework
Motion text
Following discussions within the Working Group, which included members of the
Executive Board (EB), the Directly Elected Federal Committe members (DEFC), and
National Delegates, the FC expresses its support for the development of a fairer
and more consistent reimbursement framework based on the following principles:
1. Percentage-based reimbursement: Eligible travel expenses should be
reimbursed at a fixed rate within a range of 50–75%, with the precise percentage
determined by the EB.
2. Maximum reimbursement cap: A maximum reimbursable amount should be
established, with the specific amount determined by the EB.
3. Equal treatment: The same reimbursement rules, including reimbursement
percentages and maximum caps, should apply to EB and DEFC members.
The FC invites the establishment of a working group with representatives from
all FC bodies to keep developing a full proposal based on these principles, to
be presented for discussion at the Spring FC in Rome.
(This motion is non-binding and serves to communicate the FC's position and
provide guidance for the development of the proposal).
